Redundancy and Reorganisation

As your business grows and consolidates, it will be necessary for you to reorganize your management structure and staffing arrangements. Also, in times of low productivity, there will be times when you need to impose redundancies.

It is possible to carry out these processes fairly, but there are a number of steps that must be taken in order to do so.

These situations are unique to their circumstances and must be handled delicately. We ask that you contact us as soon as you identify that you might need to reorganise and/or make redundancies, so that we can let you know what is expected of you and what action you need to take.

By waiting until the final decisions have been made before taking advice, you will already have waited too long and might be at risk of an unfair dismissal claim.
