Amelia Bateman
Case Manager
 |
Amelia is a member of the Case Manager Team. This is a varied role which calls upon both her Legal Training and her ability to interact with people. Her career before joining the team has given her some exceptional skills which have added considerably to the depth and range of abilities within the department. |
"I am really pleased to be a part of the Atkins Law team. My work ethic is exactly the same as the firm’s; fairness and personal attention for all. I believe that quality of advice and reliability are key issues. It is not my role to judge but I firmly believe in justice. With this in mind I always strive to assist our clients through the prison system in any way that I can. I am a friendly person who combines my non judgemental attitude with professional determination.
I represent life-sentenced prisoners at HMP Kingston, HMP Dartmoor, HMP Swansea and HMP Leyhill in relation to Parole Reviews, Recall Hearings and Stalled Progress. I also represent those who are subject to the new sentence of Imprisonment for Public Protection (IPP).
As a Case Manager, I represent our Clients in the most efficient and professional manner. I believe that to be able to conduct my part in the process I must be approachable, reliable and fully conscious of the possibilities that the law allows.
My background stems from both intensive legal training and additional training in a number of areas where proficient communication skills are vital. I firmly believe that both talking and listening are paramount if success is to be achieved".
